Zminje lake (Montenegrin: Zminje jezero)  is one of the small but picturesque reservoirs of the Durmitor National Park in Montenegro. It is located at a distance of 5.7 km from the center of Žabljak at an altitude of 1520 meters above sea level under the mountain Crvena greda .

In the last post , which was about hiking to the top of Savin kuk, we stopped at the finish area of ​​the ski lift. From here we will continue on our way. In the photo you can see the goal of the route - this is the top above a small house, standing at the end of the cable car. By the way, strictly speaking, the top point of the mountain is called Kulina, directly Savin kuk is located below. But as tourism develops, the old name is more and more forgotten, and the toponym Savin kuk is even more firmly attached to the peak. It is under it that it is indicated on modern maps and signs. I will also use the name Savin kuk - it's easier and less confusing.

Savin kuk is one of the most famous peaks of the Durmitor National Park in Montenegro. Together with the Šljeme ridge (Montenegrin: Šljeme, in the photo - to the left of the central point of the picture), Savin kuk (the top is slightly to the right) makes up the eastern outskirts of the central part of Durmitor. The mountain reaches a height of 2313 meters above sea level and offers excellent panoramas from it.

S AVE TIME If you have cars, then you don’t have to go to the bus station, buy tickets, wait for departure, put up with bus delays, make transfers, stop regularly on the way to pick up or drop off passengers and spend several minutes waiting at each bus station. The bus will take you only to the bus station, and by car you can not only get to the city, but also move around inside it and instead of walking for a long time, get to the sights of interest in five minutes. All this saves a lot of time, which a tourist never has much.   2. F REEDOM Traveling on your own by car, rather than using public transport or with an organized tour, you have much more freedom. You do not depend on anyone and you can change the plan at any time. Because the weather has deteriorated or, on the contrary, improved.
